Meet Christi

Hi! I’m Christi. Let’s be friends! I’ll go first and tell you a little about me.

Jesus is the best thing that’s ever happened to me. I resisted surrendering to Christ for many years because I had the idea of Him all wrong. It’s not about rules or religion but a relationship with the One who loves you perfectly and unconditionally. Jesus doesn’t hold you back; He sets you free to the truly abundant life!

The most important thing I can tell you is this: Jesus is real. The Bible is true. There is hope, help, and healing for whatever you’re facing.

I’m a Bible teacher and lover of God’s Word. My calling is to help others abide in Jesus and know, deep in their bones, the unparalleled kindness and faithfulness of God in all seasons, stages, and circumstances.

I have a soft spot in my heart for prodigals and back row church sitters, because I was one. I am forever grateful that God never gave up on me. The good news of Jesus that saved me is also what sustains me every day. It can for you, too!

I consider it a high privilege to serve others through Bible teaching, writing, and speaking. I’d be honored to be invited into your space to serve your people!

I’m a native Houstonian who loves my city’s people, food, and culture. God has brought the nations to Houston, and I’m here for it!

For nearly five years, I served as the women’s minister of a mega church, where my family still calls home. I can be found most Sundays teaching the Bible and lingering in the halls for just one more conversation. 

I’m married to my college sweetheart and best friend. I also have a tender heart for those who are honest enough to admit marriage is hard. I was raised in a divorced home, so I’m passionate about helping others heal from past wounds through the restoration only God can give.

My husband and I have four brilliant girls—truly the biggest gift and surprise of our lives! We also have four babies in heaven and know that one day we’ll meet those precious souls.

This life is a beautiful, hard, and holy journey. I’m so glad we can share it together!
